Express is an overstatement!It took forever for me to get a simple strep test done and be prescribed antibiotics. I waited for over an hour.To add to this, the clinic was not completely clean. The exam room I waited in had garbage, hair, dust, and dirt spots all over the floor/equipment/sink. Coming here for medical attention was a mistake.

It’s my 1st time being there, the staff, everyone from the front desk (Margarita) to the triage nurse to the Nurse practitioner herself were very caring/welcoming/polite and very professional.. Definitely worth five star..I will be recommending this facility to friends and family..Good job guys.. Great first impression 💪

Amazing staff! Very pleasant, welcoming and sweet. Absolutely adored everyone in the clinic! Didnt wait forever, couple time I went I was taken care of ASAP. Place is very neat and clean.

I really enjoyed being here. I checked in online and once I got there it was quite simple. I love that they have a small table for children and a kids movie. My daughter (2 year old) was patiently waiting for her turn. The nurse was very nice and taking my daughter’s vitals was very simple. The pediatric room was very nice and I love that they had magnets. She was very entertained and it wasn’t a very long wait. The doctor came in and listened to my concerns and made sure to listen to her carefully. The doctor was amazing and I loved the fact she actually gave me medication to help with my daughters horrible cough. She took her time to show me what I needed to do at home. Overall it was an amazing experience and would definitely come again or recommend anyone else to give it a try

Everyone was amazing! The customer service, the timeliness, and the premises were super clean and inviting, even more colorful and inviting than our regular pediatricians office. Dr Paula Zarco was attentive and caring towards my baby. Speedy response to everything. I highly recommend it to anyone in need or urgent care, especially with young ones.

Had a great experience at Midwest Express. Took my son for a sports physical. It was fast and the staff was amazing. Best part of the visit was not having to wait. Would highly recommend.

Came today 3-14-2025 around 7pmThe white lady sitting in the front seemed to have an attitude problem. I approached her and said I would like to see a doctor or nurse. This lady how will you pay. I said I will use my care credit card. This lady responded we dont accept care credit card anymore, she went to the extreme to say to me that I wasted my time going over there. I told her I been to that location multiple times and I always use my care credit card for my visits. She said we dont accept it anymore. I said then how come its states it in the midwest express clinic website. This lady just continued to ignore me. I just left. I mean who hires staff like that. She should be suspended or have HR speak to her.

I would 100% def recommend this place to any family or friend. I came in here for the 1st time to get stitches removed that were done by a ER a few months ago. Nurse Alyssa and Nurse practitioner Geordoni Mckoy did everything they can to make me feel comfortable and truly led with care! I was extremely happy with how friendly, honest and caring they were. Since then this has been my go to clinic and I just recently came back for a medical clearance follow up. Geordoni was really helpful, caring and even took time out of her day to keep me posted on any updates!!

They were very kind and attentive. I bring my daughter here for all her medical needs. Thank you 🙏🏾

My experience was pleasant. The staff was welcoming, friendly and professional. They helped me with a bad sinus infection for my child. They even helped me to get my prescription sent to another location bc the original location would not accept my insurance for the medicine. They helped to promptly send the prescription to another location and I was able to have my medication shortly after. I am so grateful for this urgent care location, staff and hours of operation. Especially since I cant get a normal doctor appointment for my regular doctor until July 2025 bc they are fully booked.

I scheduled an 8:30 AM X-ray appointment online the night before, only to be told upon arrival that the service was unavailable. The front desk informed me that X-rays were done at another location, and I confirmed with them before heading to the Lakeview location. Once there, I was charged $125—only to be told afterward that the X-ray service wasn’t available there either and was redirected yet again.I ended up spending 90 minutes traveling between three locations, getting the runaround, and being charged before even seeing a provider. The lack of communication and coordination was incredibly frustrating. This experience was completely unacceptable.

This facility was very great for its professional environment. The staff was friendly and very warm and welcoming. I truly appreciate your great hospitality. I would definitely visit again keep up the great job of keeping your facility clean and sterilized against catching any bacteria , it was very sterilizing even in the rest room . First time at this location. I arrived five minutes before my scheduled time. I was sent for vitals shortly after, and then directed to the room. After waiting 40 minutes for the doctor to come, I opened the door to make sure they knew I was there, waiting. No one in sight, so I left the door open in hopes to see someone. The doctor passed by, saw my door open, and came to the room to say she would be right with me and shut the door.About ten minutes later, the doctor came in and asked why was I there-it would be nice if doctors could read intake notes. Anyway, I explained my symptoms and the doctor told me I had nothing. The tests were all negative so I could just try some home remedies to help my headache, stuffy nose, non-stop cough, sore throat, and shortness of breath. I asked if the strep could be sent to the lab, she agreed.Dr. Geordoni Mckoy was awful and so was the wait time. I lost 1.5 hours of my time and a $25 co-pay. I will not return.Please note I have gone to two other Midwest Express locations before, so I expected great service.

Didn’t really seem like they cared i went back in October because I was extremely sick and i’m pregnant. This was my last resort because my normal doctor office wasn’t able to be reached. Had an ear infection and severe cold. I was prescribed something i was allergic to for that ear infection but inquired about the medication to the pharmacist before taking it and called back multiple times within 2 days only to be told they would get in touch with someone that could review my chart and have the correct medication sent over. Eventually getting the correct medication after making multiple calls. Fast forward today i was sent a bill for some reason even though I have insurance. Dont think they billed my insurance correctly. I was only prescribed ear infection medication and couldn’t take anything else for my cold because of pregnancy and now i have a $400+ bill. Don’t come here.

I went to this clinic with my kids we were all sick and the staff helped me so much Adrienne, Renee and Margarita were so helpful!! Will come back and will recommend to family and friends

I came in today, for a 3pm appt time. Was promptly reassured that I, in fact, would be seen ( not every urgent care takes my insurance apparently). The young lady at the front desk didnt waste any time checking. She was so sweet. I was not the 20 mins before I had my vitals taken and less time than that to see the NP. The nurse taking my vitals was organized and got me to where I needed fast asfThis visit not only assured me that I didnt have Covid; a first also happened in the appt which made this illness kinda not as bad. Today for the first time in my all adulthood, I had a the privilege of being seen by a Black Woman, (Woman of color-I dont want to presume. Her name Geordoni McCoy NP) TOOK ME OUT when she walked in that door. She easily was the best Np Ive seen. If I could switch PCP to this location I would happily travel from the Austin area again.I will be telling everyone about my amazing experience.Now my in and out time was quick because when I got there the people already in the waiting had all already either been seen or checked in; so depending on the day and time your wait my be a little longer but its worthwhile.Albert Matthews

Very friendly, decided to take my daughter here instead of her regular doctor as her regular doctor never really takes the time or does any additional test when shes sick, here they did the covid,flu & strep throat test to rule everything out & the doctor took her time & was very informative & helpful & due to the test they took they were able to confirm my daughter had the flu & gave her the meds needed to relieve her symptoms. Will def return & recommend

I havent been able to breathe for 2 months and all the other doctors ive seen around chicago kept giving me the same crap.She figured it out and I have been able to finally breathe after suffering for 2 months. Made my appointment to be in line to be seen online at 3am since I was with fever and pain ! Get to clinic at 8 am I’m the first one there, I get charged and get seen ! They ask where is my preferred pharmacy and Dr says go straight there for your prescription, I get to pharmacy and it’s 9am see that is closed, so I call clinic and ask them where did they sent it because this pharmacy is closed! I ask to send it to another pharmacy I made sure it was open!!! Now they said wait an hour I go back to my house wait until noon to go pick thinking it should be ready I get there and nothing !!! I call clinic and now dr is at lunch ! 2 hours later and doctor can’t send my prescription I had to come to clinic and pick up actual paper prescription myself and take to pharmacy myself ! Since Dr is waaaayyy tooo busy !! Not cool , I been to the one on Kedzie and service from dr way different !!!! Never coming back !

Receptionist was really nice, her name was Tasha… but doctor was rushing kinda made me feel like she didn’t had time for me like she had to go to see other patients too I do understand that but I had some more questions due to rush I couldn’t ask her.. also she only said one statement that’s all then she just gave me medicine. Besides that everything was fine

First time there, I was the first patient there. Front desk staff was awesome. And the doctor was very kind and thorough. I would go back.

I was waiting at Rush hospital for quite sometime for my son to be seen and I felt the wait was never ending! His ear pain was unbearable. I called Midwest and the great friendly voice said “ bring him in”! I headed there and was in an out in less than 45 minutes! He was diagnosed appropriately and I was headed right down to pick up his medication at the pharmacy right down the street! I was met with the kindest people there from the receptionist, to the triage nurse and then the doctor! What a wonderful experience thank you all!

Date of service was Sunday 12/29Front desk was able to answer all my questions, she was really kind and helpful on my first visit there.Overall seemless experience. I was in and out in less than an hour - which is pretty fast for any clinic on a Sunday.Thank you Midwest team!

The staff here is extremely professional. McKoy was especially friendly & made my visit pleasant. Her years of experience was on full display. Definitely going to recommend more people to go to this location because of her.

I took my son in this week and we had a great experience! The staff is all friendly and attentive. They took care of my son pretty quickly. I left feeling satisfied with their care and will be going back if the need arises!

I will gladly rate an experience that was nothing short of AWESOME. Staff was Nice! Waiting area was clean and wait time was minutes. I didn’t have to wait in the actual room for minutes on end. The NP listened to my past experiences with meds and what worked best for me and I was out of there. Thank you!

All 3 visits have gone so quick during the hours I have gone. I have gone around 9am, 12pm. And even 5pm. All those times I have been able to get in and out in less than 30 minutes, which is phenomenal and I don’t feel rushed at all that’s the part that allows me to feel good in relying on this urgent care clinic. The last visit was rather urgent and I need to get medicine to feel better which it was all such a pleasure to have gone because I wanted to avoid the ED for my symptoms.

I had the best and quickest experience coming here . The receptionist was extremely helpful and very polite. My son was seen by Dr.Mckoy she made his vist so smooth and she explained everything so well . I wish we had more doctors like her .

Visited 11.12.24 with my autistic daughter due to an ear infection & was handled with patience and care from all the providers from checking in, vitals check, and to the exam room. I don’t remember the other two individuals names, but the women who handled my daughters issue I believe her name was Scoripia (apologies for butchering) she was so gentle and caring with my daughter. She literally went above and beyond to make sure my child would leave better than she came in.I genuinely appreciate the staff that handled our situation. Doctor visits are extremely tough for my child & the staff did their best to help us and for that i’m thankful.

My wife got seen by doctora Paula Z. Shes a blessing. Thank God for her life.

I was extremely satisfied with the service here. I even came back to work and shared with my co- workers about how great my experience was!!!! Also the facility is very clean!!!!!!

This is a great location, clean, efficient, and friendly. They are in the process of having X-ray services available at this site so if you’re in need of that the Burbank location will be a better option. They triage you in a separate room which feels very streamlined and helpful.

The service here was impeccable. Was attended to very quickly. The people at the desk were very respectful and helpful. Usually feel uncomfortable going to things like this however when i was there the staff made me feel very comfortable

I waited for at least an hour in the exam room after having my vitals taken and providing a urine sample. I thought that I had been forgotten about. I checked with the front desk, and they indicated that another patient walked in after me that had an emergency. During this time period, no one informed me of anything. I had to figure out on my own that I wouldnt be seen in a timely manner. I was the only person in the facility prior to the other patient coming in. I finally saw the doctor after an hour and half. He briefly apologized about the wait, but didn’t seem particularly concerned about the inconvenience.

They are fast and present also something I’ll say they need to work on is just having a smile at the door

Didn’t wanna go into here because I already knew there isn’t a real doctor. Only nurses. They were so unprofessional and made me feel embarrassed and ashamed. Criticized me and blamed me for being sick and would t help me. Just convinced me to do “at home” remedies I already saw on Google. Wrote me 2 antibiotic prescriptions and one of them isn’t even for what was wrong. I didn’t have insurance and the consultation fee was $125 . That would have been down the drain because they wouldn’t treat me without trying to tell me it would be weekly visits after. (It was an abscess drainage) the procedure was also 125$ and she made sure to tell me it wouldn’t fix the problem and i would still have an uphill battle to get better. the antibiotics were 150$ without insurance but luckily the pharmacy at Walgreens applied the FSA discount which brought it down to 40$. Still expensive but I just wanna get better. Only come here if it is a very minor sickness or something that doesn’t require medical knowledge or professionalism, that isn’t offered here.Total cost would have been $400+Walgreens saved me 120$ and I got literally no help.

I visited Midwest Urgent Care recently and the visit was smooth and easy. The intake was fast and so was seeing the NP. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I brought my eight year-old son in because I thought he might’ve broken his wrist. This location unfortunately didn’t do x-rays, but the provider was so caring she sent me to the West loop location followed up with me and took my call the next morning. Truly thankful for all of her help!!!

I will definitely NOT return to this clinic, the receptionist is very friendly and patient. The doctor who treated me is the second time I have seen her and she doesnt prescribe me anything. The first time I went he said he had nothing. Which later I returned to my doctor and it turns out that I had an infection.I was there today and he did the same thing to me. That I have nothing. If I continue to feel bad, I should go to the emergency room. I dont understand why they are there. If thats what theyre supposed to do so that emergency rooms arent so full...In the end! I dont give more than one star. I hope they can change doctors soon.
